PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITAION PROGRAM (PRP) Child

PRP Child (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program)

At Rosie’s Recovery Center, our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) for Children and Adolescents is designed to complement existing mental health services, such as therapy and psychiatry. Our goal is to provide additional support that enhances the child’s overall mental health treatment and well-being.

Our program is facilitated by trained rehabilitation staff and offers both individual and group rehabilitation activities. These activities can be conducted at Rosie’s Recovery Center, in the child’s home, or in community settings, depending on the needs and preferences of the child and their family.

Who We Help:

Our PRP Child program is designed to support children and adolescents (ages 5-17) who are experiencing a range of mental health and behavioral challenges, including:

  • Mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, bipolar disorder, or behavioral issues.
  • Emotional and behavioral difficulties that affect their ability to regulate emotions, manage impulses, or function effectively at home and school.
  • Academic and social challenges, including difficulties with school performance, peer relationships, or adjusting to significant life changes.

We provide individualized support for both children and their families, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and care they need for long-term emotional health and well-being. Our dedicated direct care workers and therapists work together to help children build the skills they need to succeed at home, in school, and in the community

Services We Offer:

Our PRP Child program is designed to provide individualized psychiatric rehabilitation services for children and adolescents. Our Approach:

At Rosie’s Recovery Center, we believe that children thrive best when they are supported both emotionally and practically. That’s why our PRP Child program takes a family-centered approach to psychiatric rehabilitation. Each child in our program is paired with a dedicated direct care worker, who provides one-on-one support across all aspects of the child’s life, including home, school, and community environments.

Our team of licensed therapists, direct care workers, and counselors work together to create individualized treatment plans that focus on:

  • Emotional and Behavioral Development: We help children learn to regulate emotions, manage impulsive behaviors, and develop positive coping strategies through a mix of therapy and practical interventions.
  • Life Skills and Social Integration: We provide training in essential life skills, social interactions, and academic support, ensuring that each child builds the tools they need for long-term success.
  • Family Involvement: We actively engage families in the treatment process, offering family counseling and regular updates to ensure that parents and caregivers have the resources they need to support their child’s progress.

Our approach integrates therapeutic techniques with real-world application, ensuring that the skills children learn in therapy are reinforced and practiced in daily life. By collaborating with parents, teachers, and other caregivers, we create a supportive, nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive.
